Just one hour a week is all it takes to brighten someone’s day!
We’re looking for volunteers to join our Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) to help reduce social isolation and loneliness among older people. Our volunteers engage in activities like chatting over a cup of tea, sharing a hobby, enjoying music, playing games, taking walks or connecting through video or phone calls.
To become an ACVVS Volunteer, you need to be someone who enjoys socialising, be able to commit to one hour a week, be fully vaccinated and obtain police clearance (reimbursed). Volunteers receive induction, ongoing training, support, and professional development opportunities.
