Advocare Incorporated is pleased to confirm the appointment of Bev Jowle as the incoming Chief Executive Officer. Bev will join the Advocare team from 11 November 2024.
Achieving high results in tertiary study areas including Social Impact, Motivating and Managing Performance, Politics, Philosophy, Sociology and Youth Studies, Bev’s career is consistently dedicated to successful advocacy, empowerment and support for vulnerable people.
Bev is most recently Chief Executive Officer at Consumer Credit Legal Service WA and previously held senior roles at Western Australia’s Department of Communities, Lotterywest, Financial Counsellors’ Association of WA, St Patrick’s and South Coastal Women’s Health Service. She also has over a decade of Board experience.
Current CEO, Louise Johnstone Forster will depart Advocare on 6 September 2024.
Under Louise’s leadership, Advocare has undergone significant transformation and growth – expanding the services and supports available to older Western Australians.
The Board, on behalf of all the staff, thanks Louise for her tremendous contribution to Advocare over the last three years.
Interim CEO, Erin Timu will oversee the organisation, ensuring Advocare’s work to protect the rights of older people continues uninterrupted during this transition period.
