We’ve just finished our first week of a permanent Aged Care Navigator presence in the South West region of Western Australia. We are looking forward to being able to provide face-to-face support within a number of regions in WA with the South West being the first.
Given the complexity of the aged care system many people need help and advice to make choices that are right for them and to resolve problems with aged care providers. Whilst people in the regional areas of Western Australia have always been able to receive help via Advocare’s telephone advocacy services, being based locally means Kerry can assist older people who would prefer face to face contact.
What can our specialist Aged Care Navigators do for you?
- Assist with the aged care application process including My Aged Care
- Provide face-to-face, phone and online support
- Assist you to make informed choices about your aged care needs
- Provide one-on-one advice and community information sessions.
