Veronica has had extensive experience in public relations in the non for profit, corporate and government sectors, working in communication roles for a number of organisations. As an ex local government councilor with the City of South Perth, Veronica has enjoyed 6 years of local government experience. Veronica’s focus of interests are organisational change, relationship building, cross-cultural/ communications and diversity.

Veronica is about to embark on a Ph.D. after completing a Master of Philosophy (Public Relations) at Curtin University. Veronica’s Masters research focus was on culture, change and professionalisation in the non for profit sector. Her Ph.D. topic is Inclusive Diversity and she hopes to challenge the idea of diversity on boards from an inclusive aspect, rather than the current focus on gender (male and female).

Veronica has been a Justice of the Peace since 2008, and is currently a board member and secretary of Borderless Friendship Foundation, board member of South Care and Acting Unit Coordinator for PR Techniques, PR Internship and PR Transmedia Storytelling at Curtin University.
