With high-level expertise in complex strategic thinking and innovation, Helen is an accomplished strategist and researcher. She leads multidisciplinary teams devising answers to complex strategy questions to improve Triple Bottom Line business results and outcomes.
As a successful business owner Helen established an independent consultancy firm now running for over twenty years, with a track record providing strategic advice to industry, government and the not for profit sectors. Aged care, infrastructure, tertiary education and healthcare are sectors where she has substantial knowledge from her consultancy work and from international study tours. Previously she directed Western Australian and Australian government funding programs of up to $40 Million.
Helen has completed AICD’s course, and since 1988 she has served on the boards of ten incorporated organisations in the education, health, aged care, arts, seniors and childcare sectors. Achievements include CEO recruitment, major redevelopment/building projects, and business continuity solutions. Her roles have included vice president; chair of risk, remuneration, education, clinical governance sub-committees; member of pastoral care, finance and audit committees. Helen holds a research doctorate in Small Business and Community Partnerships from Curtin University of Technology.
